Daniel spent eight years with Texas Farm Bureau before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015 and transitioning to Buchanan Wealth Management in 2021. He started as a Client Associate, became a Financial Consultant, holding the Series 7 and 66 registrations, was quickly promoted with the firm and is now a Financial Advisor with Buchanan Wealth Management. Daniel holds the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He works to provide clients with the highest level of financial and insurance services.
Daniel is from Alabama and moved to Nacogdoches in 1999. He and his wife Shanon have been married for 14 years. They have four sons between them. Tucker graduated from SFA with his Master’s Degree in Accounting and lives and works in Tyler. Mason is a graduate of SFA. Caden is a Senior at Texas A&M pursuing a career in the medical field. Turner is studying to become a Master Electrician.
Daniel is very active in his church and in the community. He volunteers with United Way throughout the year, culminating with the Nine Flags Christmas parade each year. Daniel joined the Nacogdoches Chamber Board of Directors in October 2024 and participated in the 2024-2025 Leadership Nacogdoches Class.
Daniel's experience also includes many years coaching local youth basketball, baseball and soccer. He previously served on the board for the Nacogdoches Youth Baseball Association and Blue Devils Basketball. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys hunting and fishing with his family and traveling with his wife.
